Rocket Gang began as a project between two eager fans of the series Pocket Monsters (Pokémon). After becoming increasingly frustrated with the quality of the English dub of the series. It was decided to begin a subbing group to provide quality subbed episodes of a series so heavily edited by dub company.

After many discussions it was also decided to provide subs to other series aswell, these include other anime shows heavily edited,never released, or never completed.
